I was first introduced to the Jergens brand when I received the Jergens Shea Butter Deep Conditioning Moisturiser in my first ever Marie Claire Parcel- which I fell in love with from the very first use.

This product could work well for people who use it as a lotion first with the added value of a very, very subtle color tint. Although our warehouse is fully air-conditioned, these more fragile items are put in cold storage (freezer or refrigeration unit) for maximum freshness. Although it doesn’t have the distinct self tan odor, there was an oaky-coconut scent that I did not like. I had a bad experience with a self-tanner that I didn’t actually apply to myself, but to another person.

By day 2-3, yes there will be some "glow" but as for whether it's a real tan type look or a tiny shade of orange, I'm not sure. To enhance your natural skin tone, apply in place of your regular body moisturizer at least once daily and you'll have beautiful, natural-looking color in about one week.

I barley notice the difference when I’m using it, until someone I see all of the time asks me where I got my tan. Repeated exposure of unprotected skin while tanning may increase the risk of skin aging, skin cancer and other harmful effects to the skin even if you do not burn.

I didn't really notice any sort of firming effect after using this whatsoever, other than just feeling like my skin was more moist and supple, which any lotion can do that. I've never been one to religiously apply lotion after a bath or shower, nor do I exfoliate with any regularity.
